Round table (11-12.03.2021, Kyiv)

On March 11-12, 2021 within the framework of the international project Erasmus+ "New management mechanisms based on partnership and standardization of teacher training in Ukraine (PAGOSTE)" a round table "Development and implementation of management mechanisms based on partnership in training teachers for the vocational system Education: Concepts of Effective Functioning ”, organized by the Ukrainian Engineering Pedagogics Academy.

The purpose of the event is a public discussion with stakeholders:
• concepts of training teachers in vocational education on the basis of partnership, developed by Ukrainian higher education institutions;
• the project of an Internet platform for interaction between stakeholders interested in training teachers of vocational education;
• Associations for the development of vocational and continuing education.

The round table was attended by more than 180 participants (directors and teachers of vocational higher and vocational education institutions, employees of educational and methodological centers of vocational education; university teachers involved in the training of vocational education teachers; employers; representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine) .

Welcoming remarks were made by Olena KOVALENKO (Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Pedagogy); Iryna SHUMIK (Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine); Thomas DAISINGER (University of Constanta, Germany); Ivanna ATAMANCHUK (National Erasmus+ office — Ukraine).

Representatives of Ukrainian partner universities presented their own concepts for the development of the system of training teachers of vocational education and training on the basis of standardization and partnership: Natalia BRYUKHANOVA, Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Pedagogy; Svitlana Tsymbalyuk, Vadym Hetman Kyiv National University of Economics; Natalia BONDAR, National Transport University; Tetyana PETYUKHOVA, KD South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University Ushinsky.

The European project partners - Thomas DAISINGER (University of Constanta, Germany), Richard FORTMMULLER and Rosanna STEININGER (Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria) - shared their experiences of cooperation between the various stakeholders involved in their training professions.

Oleksandr RADKEVYCH (Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine) presented an Internet platform for interaction between stakeholders interested in training teachers of vocational education.

The initiative to establish the Association for the Development of Vocational and Continuing Education was presented by Oleksandr KUPRIYANOV (Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and Pedagogy).

Halyna Yelnikova (founder of the School) and Iryna Lapshyna (Khortytsia National Training and Rehabilitation Academy, Ukraine) shared their experience of cooperation between the NGO "School of Adaptive Management of Social and Pedagogical Systems" and vocational education institutions.

During the round table a moderated discussion was organized on the ways and prospects of management based on partnership in the training of teachers of vocational education in Ukraine.

The issues discussed during the round table aroused considerable interest among the participants.
