On January 29, 2021, he took part in the event "Student Government. How to create a successful project ".

The event took place within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project under Jean Monnet Module "Democratic decentralization as a European experience of public administration" (620067-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE).

The event was organized by Kharkiv National Economic University named after Semyon Kuznets. The event partners were regional state administrations, city councils, business representatives, civil society institutions (NGO "Community Development of Kharkiv Region", All-Ukrainian Student Brotherhood "Elite of the Nation").

More than 440 potential participants from 90 schools in Kharkiv joined the online event.

Representative of NEO — Ukraine Petro Krainik joined the information meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he informed about the possibilities of the new Erasmus Program and highlighted the open opportunities for young people and schoolchildren.

The project aims to promote:

• involving young people in public administration, creating a free information space for their communication with local governments, NGOs and the educational environment;
• dissemination of European experience in the development of the institution of self-government;
• awareness of European standards for the development of a democratic society;
• formation of communication skills to involve partners in projects;
• formation of an active civil position, positive thinking;
• gaining the ability to develop, present and promote their own projects to attract EU grant funds.

Stages of the event:
January 29, 2021 — information meeting;
February 8, 2021 — presentation of projects and determination of winners. The projects are planned to be posted on Instagram for voting.
